Hormones Vitamins Exercise
I am a big Proponent of a Healthy Lifestyle including the following:
1. Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy
As we age our hormones naturally decline. For many of us, this decline can lead to age related illness. By seeing a Bio-identical Hormone Doctor, and supplementing with Natural, Bio-identical Hormones such as : Thyroid, Estrogen, Progesterone, Cortisol, Testosterone.
Bringing your levels back to when you were healthy and vibrant, ie Mid 20's to Early 30's.... Normal for someone 50, 60, 70 and beyond is not where you want to be, you want to have hormone levels of a 20 something.
2. Vitamin Regimen to naturally keep Cholesterol Low: "STATINS ARE NOT THE ANSWER"
I believe and have seen the results of the "Linus Pauling" therapy for Cholesterol Reduction and Callogen support of vein and artery wall strength.
Why does the body make and use Cholesterol?
Cholesterol circulates within the blood as a "patch" for tears and fissures in artery and vein walls. cholesterol keeps your blood from bleeding internally by patching up problem walls.
Statins dump good cholesterol, bad cholesterol, Magnesium, Vitamin D3, Testosterone, and Estrogen, Progesterone, and load your body up on Calcium. In fact if you look at "scientific name" for statins most of them have "calcium derivative in their name". For instance, "Lipitor" is a trade/brand or marketing name for the drug, "(atorvastatin calcium)" is chemical name for "Lipitor".
Our bodies make cholesterol to patch up weak artery and vein walls, therefore, we need to rebuild this "wall strength" and our bodies no longer need cholesterol. Hence, Linus Pauling therapy.
Linus Pauling believed and demonstrated that vein walls are made of "callogen" and the only substance known to rebuild callogen in the body is "Vitamin C". Vitamin C rebuilds Artery and Vein Wall strength. Linus Pauling then calls for inclusion of 2 Amino Acids, L-Lysine and L-Proline. L-Proline binds to LDL, and carries it to the Liver, where LDL "fatS" are broken down by "L-Lysine" and passed thru to the Kidneys for expulsion from the body.
Another Vitamin that really works on "Triglycerides" is "ALCAR" Acetyl L Carnitine, if you take ALCAR with meals (Healthy Meals) hopefully, ALCAR binds to Triglycerides and expels them from the body.
As Americans and our extremely poor eating habits, with Processed foods have given rise to extreme vitamin deficiency's.
Vitamin D3 is woefully low in Americans. I assure you, that there isn't enough sunlight to bring your levels to where they need to be. I take a high does of Vitamin D3 once a week and my levels are in the 70 ng/dl range, whereas, most people tested by Dr Hotze, at the www.hotzehwc.com are in the 25-30 ng/dl .. Vitamin D3 we are finding out is almost a wonder "drug" but its really a cholesterol based hormone.
Magnesium is needed by the body for regular bowel movements. It is great for giving you and assist to get to sleep thru the night, and it is needed along with Vitamin D3, and Progesterone for keeping strong teeth and bones. In fact, studies have shown that Vit. D3, Progesterone, and Magnesium taken together, some women were able to rebuild bone density levels by up to 20%.
A healthy diet rich in "Organic Fruits and Vegetables", Lean low fat meats, with low quantities of red meat, and high in Fish, deep water, non farm, wild fish along with low glycemic carbs and avoiding all foods containing HFCS, Maltodextrin, Sugar Substitutes, and white breads will give an assist to all these vitamins and hormones.
Dr Hotze has seen amazing progress when his patients go on his natural bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Yeast Free Eating Plan, and vitamins meant to rebuild key areas of deficiency.
3. Swimming
Swimming is shown to delay "age related illnesses" by up to 15 years. I visited the Ft Lauderdale area recently, and swam with their US Masters swimming group. They had several people in their 90's that swam each day, you would think they are in their 60s. This total body workout is a great for your circulation, heart, lungs, brain health.
4. Weight lifting
5. Bicycle Riding
6. Run - walking
